| ....The students of our school had a discussion about whether listening tests in the National Matriculation English Test should be kept or cancelled. The students who agreed to keep the listening tests thought that listening is one of the most important simple skills, we couldn't leave it out. And listening is one of the important ways to get information. We should make our speaking and listening competence better to work with the other countries. But the others didn't agree to keep the listening tests that the listening effect in each place is not the same. It's not fair to the people. The English teachers and the machines in each place are not the same. Of course, we don't have to talk to foreigners in the future. These are the ideas of our school students. |
